So ya’ll know that in 98 days I’ll be marrying the best guy ever, right? Well three years ago this gal and guy started that relationship that blossomed into this impending marriage.
I’ve kind of talked about how we met and the past and all that jazz, but I don’t think I ever really shared our first dating story. If you can call it a date. But you know.
Soooo. 3 years ago when we were both at Ohio Northern it was an absolutely cold ridiculously freezing January night. Jim had texted me the day before and asked if I was free that night to play guitar hero (romantic, right?). Since GH is pretty much my favorite game ever invented, of course I wanted someone to come over and try to beat me (he didn’t. for the record). He clearly knows the way to my heart, through guitar hero.
Wellll little did I know that this night would be the start of something great. We played GH for a good 2 hours (After a while you get dizzy!) and then watched TV for a bit and kind of sat there and talked. There was this awkward like trying to hold hands thing going on, and then he went to the bathroom, came back and asked if I’d be his girlfriend (I hate the term “going out” like.. where exactly are you going?) But that is our official “dating” anniversary. I think Jim stayed til around 4am (we didn’t have class the next day) and I just enjoyed the talking time!
3 years and a proposal later, I couldn’t be happier that we had that date. I couldn’t be happier to be marrying such a caring, loving, sweet individual. Only a few more months until we say I Do!

Yeah, we were in programming together. I was actually friends with Steve before Jim lol.
